Stapleton Admits Killing Indian Student
A man has admitted killing Indian student Anuj Bidve.
Kiaran Stapleton, 21, from Salford, denied murdering the student, but pleaded guilty to manslaughter at Manchester Crown Court.
Mr Bidve, 23, was shot in the head on 26th December 2011.
Stapleton has been set a trial date for 25 June.

A man who stabbed a student to death on a train has been sentenced to life imprisonment. Thomas Lee Wood, 22, from Skelmersdale in Lancashire admitted killing first-year student Thomas Grant, 19, from Glouestershire who had been attending St Andrews University.

A man has been found guilty of the murder of his teenage girlfriend, whose decapitated body was found at a flat in Sheffield in June last year. 21-year-old Aras Hussein beheaded 18-year-old student Reema Ramzan before stabbing himself in the chest. According to a report by the BBC, Hussein was jailed for life, with a minimum term of 20 years.

Hitmen jailed for killing student
Two more men have been jailed for life for the murder of a Somali student in London two years ago. Galal Hamza, 25, was shot dead in the street in Earl's Court, west London, in April 2004 in an apparently motiveless attack. Daniel Turvey, 22, from Fulham, south-west London, was jailed for the murder last year.
