Golden Weekend At Olympics
World record holder Usain Bolt has won the 100m men's sprint at the Olympics, pushing him to gold.
He set an Olympic record with the time of 9.53 seconds, half a second slower than his own world record of 9.58 seconds, won at the World Championships in 2009.
He said: "I was slightly worried about my start. It was not the best reaction in the world but I stopped worrying about it and executed it and it worked.
"I said it on the track, people can talk, all they can do is talk. When it comes to championships I bring it."
Bolt’s fellow Jamaican and training partner Johan Blake came second with 9.75 seconds and Justin Gatlin of the USA won bronze with 9.79 seconds.
The Jamaican victories gave fuel to partiers on the Caribbean island, which celebrates its 50th anniversary of independence today.
Elsewhere in the Olympics, tennis's Andy Murray beat his archrival Roger Federer to clinch Britain's first men's singles gold for more than a century.
Britain last won the prize in the 1908 Olympics, also in London.
Team GB is now third in this year’s medals table, with 37 in total including 16 golds.
That leaves just China and the USA ahead of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Shadow Home Secretary Oliver Letwin has challenged government figures that crimes rates for theft are falling – claiming that a retail crime is committed in Britain every 3.7 seconds. Mr Letwin warned that shoplifting has "rocketed" and accused the government misleading the public by publishing crime figures which are "40% too low".

Hundreds reported dead in Iran earthquake
An earthquake in Iran is reported to have killed at least 400 people and left hundreds more injured. The earthquake occurred around 35 miles from Zarand in the country's Kerman province, around 460 miles from the Iranian capital, Tehran just before 6am local time this morning (2:30am GMT). It measured 6.4 on the Richter scale.

Study claims dyslexia slows drivers' reactions
Dyslexia could affect a driver's reaction as much as a moderate drinking session, a Norwegian scientist has claimed. Hermundur Sigmundsson, from the University of Science and Technology in Norway, conducted a study comparing how quickly dyslexic and non-dyslexic drivers reacted to traffic signs.
