Blake Fielder-Civil In Coma After Multiple Organ Failure

Ex-husband of the late Amy Winehouse is fighting for his life in hospital after an apparent drink and drugs binge.

30-year-old Blake Fielder-Civil was found choking in bed by his partner Sarah Aspin last Friday, before being rushed to hospital with multiple organ failure.

Fielder-Civil, a recovering drug addict, had gone out drinking with a friend the previous day and Aspin, who is mother to his 15-month-old son, said she believed he might have taken an illicit substance.

He was put into an induced coma and is on a life support machine in hospital in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.

Amy’s father, Mitch Winehouse took to Twitter urging his daughters fans to pray for Blake, saying: "Remember Amy loved him. Let's pray for his recovery."
