Woman Arrested After Racist Bus Rant Video Appears Online

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of making racist comments after police examined footage that was uploaded to Youtube.

The video shows a black woman shouting about her African heritage and making disparaging comments about white people.

The video lead police to arrest a 34-year-old at an address in Hackney, east London, on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence.

The Metropolitan Police said they were trying to determine when it was filmed.

A police spokesman said: "On Monday August 20 MPS officers began to assess footage of a woman that was brought to our attention.

"It shows a woman making comments on a bus. Officers are continuing to try and establish when and where the footage was taken."

Police said the woman had been taken to an east London police station.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
A body has been discovered in Sutton Mill by police investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Hayman. The body was found at 18:00 on Thursday. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police said that Ms Hayman's family have been informed of the find. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

A police van transporting a suspect has collided with a car in Sheffield, injuring seven people. South Yorkshire Police say the incident, which happened on Abbeydale Road at about 23:30 on Sunday, involved a police van and a red Peugeot 207.

Human Remains Found During Search For Missing Woman
Police Scotland have confirmed that human remains have been found during the search for missing 19-year-old Hazel North. A search had been ongoing for Ms North, who was from Dunfermline and has been missing since 04 March. Police have not yet been confirmed if the remains found in Dean Park are those of Ms North.

'Cannabis factory' found in South Wales hotel
South Wales police have uncovered a drugs making factory in a former hotel. Police said that they had found a "sophisticated drugs making factory" following a raid at the Dragon Inn Chinese in part of the Jubilee Hotel in Tylorstown in Rhondda. More than 2,000 cannabis plants were seized during the raid on Sunday morning and six men were arrested.
