Nick Griffin Defends Tweeting Couples Address
A couple who won a B&B discrimination case said they were not concerned about comments made on BNP leader Nick Griffin's Twitter account.
Michael Black and John Morgan, of Brampton, near Huntingdon, won a landmark ruling on Thursday after being turned away from a guesthouse.
A short time later Nick Griffins Twitter account posted a question asking if any one knew the pair's address.
The next tweet, posted the address, and what has been accused of being a thinly veiled threat.
A pair of tweets read: "So Messrs Black & Morgan, at [their address]. A British Justice team will come up to Huntington & give you a...
"...bit of drama by way of reminding you that an English couple's home is their castle. Say No to heterophobia!"
Responding Michael Black described the comments as a "damp squib" that would "fizzle out".
"It would be difficult for people to gather as we live in a small village and there's nowhere to park," he added.
Defending his actions, Griffin told BBC Radio 5live that he was speaking for "silent majority".
"They [Mr Black and Mr Morgan] used and abused the system to persecute a Christian couple."
"I think people have the right to discriminate," he added.
He claimed that the reference "give you a bit of drama" in his tweet was commenting on the fact the couple are involved in amateur dramatics, and he had only wanted a "peaceful" demonstration.
He dismissed a suggestion that lobbying Parliament would be more appropriate and said "you have to be slightly more forceful".

‘Gay marriage’ becomes legal

Baby Snatch Attempt Foiled By Mother
A mother has successfully fought off a man and a woman who attempted to snatch her baby daughter from her pram in Leigh, Greater Manchester. Shortly after 8pm on Sunday 12 August 2007, the 30-year-old mother was pushing a pram with her four-month-old daughter along Wigan Road, close to the Hulme Road junction.

It is believed the government are planning to introduce a tax break for married couples before the 2015 election. The announcement comes after wide criticism of the chancellor's plan to axe child benefit for higher rate taxpayers from 2013. However, the Prime Minister has stood by plans to scrap child benefit for high earners.
