Men Arrested Over Perth Death

Tayside Police have charged three men in connection with the death of another man in Perth.

The charges follow the discovery of a man found with serious injuries near Bute Drive at 04:30 on Saturday morning.

The man was taken to Perth Royal Infirmary but died later.

The three men aged 19, 24 and 28 are due to appear before Perth Sheriff Court on Monday

The victim is believed to be in his 20s, but police said they would not be releasing any more information until a formal identification had taken place.

Police Taser Man Over Knife Threats

Police have used a Taser on a man armed with a knife who was threatening to kill.

The incident happened on the Isle of Wight when police were called to a house in North Road in Shanklin just before 20:00 on Sunday evening.

A 37-year-old local man was stunned with the Taser when he refused to leave the address.

Woman Patient Dies In Ambulance Crash

A 75-year-old woman has died in Lincolnshire when the ambulance she was in crashed.

The woman, who was a patient at the time, died at the scene.

Two male ambulance service staff, aged 62 and 52, were taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital.

The accident happened at about 03:00 on Monday morning near the junction with High Ferry Lane on the A16 Boston Road at Sibsey.

Teenager Released Over 7-Year-Old's Death

A teenage boy has been released on bail after being arrested over the death of a seven-year-old boy who was hit by a car in south Wales.

The victim was hit by a BMW 3 series estate at a Shirenewton caravan park east of Cardiff at about 15:00 on Saturday afternoon.

He was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff where he later died.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Investigation launched into suspicious death in Perth
Police in Perth have launched an investigation following the discovery of the body of a 55-year-old man in his flat in the city. A work colleague discovered the man in his flat in Atholl Street after 8pm on Wednesday night after the man failed to turn up for work. Tayside Police said that the death is being treated as suspicious.

Man Arrested In Toddler Death Probe
A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a three-year-old girl. The toddler was brought to hospital on Friday but died in the early hours of Saturday morning. A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "A 30-year-old man from Beck Road, Shiregreen, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and inquiries are continuing.

Wanted Man Arrested In London
The man wanted in connection with the murder of a 66-year-old man who intervened during a robbery, has been arrested. Ian John McLoughlin, 55, was arrested in London at around 01:00. He was wanted on suspicion of murder and robbery. Airports and ports had been put on alert as police hinted for McLoughlin.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.
