Over 100 Cars Vandalised In Swindon
Around 120 cars have had their tyres slashed overnight in Swindon.
It is understood that at least four roads in the Old Town and surrounding areas were targeted, including Dixon Street, Stafford Street, Raggett Street and Prospect Place.
Detectives said damage to about 120 cars had been reported to them so far.
Wiltshire Police are asking people who have been affected or who may have information to contact them.

Digger driver charged over house 'demolition'
A 52-year-old man has been charged with criminal damage offences after a house and cars were destroyed by a mechanical digger. Robert Taylor, of no fixed address, is due to appear before magistrates in Chelmsford charged with criminal damage with intent to endanger life.

Street cleaners urged to fight crime
Street cleaners and other street workers have been urged to help fight crime by becoming the eyes and ears of a community. A report by the Audit Commission said that street workers employed by councils to observe low-level criminal activity in a community would not place an extra burden on them or the police.

Almost 140,000 Nissan Micra’s are to be recalled in the UK over a faulty steering wheel. The car manufacturer is recalling some 841,000 cars worldwide. The model being recalled was built between 2002-2006.

Environment Agency publishes Boscastle report
An Environment Agency report has given the go-ahead to replace flood-damaged buildings in the Cornish village of Boscastle, which was devastated by a massive flood in August last year. The report described the chances of a flood of such magnitude ever happening in that area again as "low", with the risk estimated at 400 to one in any given year.

Sheffield to test run new anti-yob measures
Sheffield has been chosen as a 'trailblazer' area to show how new anti-social behaviour powers can be used, the government has announced today. The Yorkshire city will be an area of "sustained action" in dealing with nuisance neighbours, abandoned cars, graffiti and litter. The campaign is backed by £500,000 of government funding.
