George Galloway Considers Run For London Mayor

Controversial MP George Galloway is reported to be considering running for London mayor.

The MP for Bethnal West reportedly told a TV interviewer that he has a team “looking at the prospect of [me] running for Mayor of London at the next election.

Speaking to RT’s Max Keiser he said: “I’d like to fight Boris Johnson, and I think David Cameron probably wishes I’d be fighting Boris Johnson because if I’m not, Boris Johnson is back in Parliament fighting him.”

£10 Diesel Car Charge Considered For Central London
It has been reported that a plan to charge drivers of diesel cars £10 to drive into central London are being considered. According to a report by the Times, London Mayor Boris Johnson will lobby the government for an increase in road tax for diesel cars as part of a new Ultra Low Emission Zone he hopes to be introduced by 2020.
