Kidnapped Briton Found In Indonesia

A British man kidnapped in Indonesia on Tuesday has returned to his family.

61-year-old Malcolm Primrose was seized in the north Sumatran province of Aceh. Mr Primrose worked for oil company Medco E&P, who are reported to have expressed their "deepest gratitude" to local authorities who helped recover Mr Primrose.

According to the BBC, Mr Primrose was found alone on Thursday at a security post inside a palm oil plantation.

It is understood an "extensive hunt" is on for his kidnappers.

Vehicles found in search for kidnapped Britons
A search team looking for five Britons kidnapped in Ethiopia have discovered three vehicles which appear to have been damaged by gunshots or an explosion. According to reports, the vehicles, which were discovered in the village of Hamedali near the border with Eritrea, still had luggage, shoes and mobile phones inside.

Kidnapped BBC reporter in 'bomb belt' video
Kidnapped BBC reporter Alan Johnson has been shown wearing what appears to be an explosives vest in a video posted on the internet by his captors. In the video, Mr Johnson warned that the explosives would be detonated if any attempt was made to free him by force. Speaking on the tape, Mr Johnson said that the situation was "very serious".
