Man Arrested After Brixton Double Shooting
A man has been arrested in south London in connection with the shooting of a man and woman.
The man, said to be in his 60s, and a 59-year-old woman, were shot while trying to evict a tenant from a property in Brixton on Wednesday morning.
It has been reported that police were called to Strathleven Road at around 09:50 on Wednesday.
They had to force their way into the suspected gunman's home, where he was found unarmed. A gun was found a short time later and the man was arrested.
It is understood that the injuries suffered by the two victims are not life-threatening.

Police Dig Up Pub Patio In Search For Missing Landlady
Police investigating the disappearance of a landlady in Cambridgeshire in 1997 are digging up the patio of her former pub. Deborah Steel, 37, was landlady of the Royal Standard in Ely, Cambridgeshire, when she disappeared on 28 December 1997. Police have said that Ms Steel's disappearance is now being treated as a murder investigation.

Wanted Man Arrested In London
The man wanted in connection with the murder of a 66-year-old man who intervened during a robbery, has been arrested. Ian John McLoughlin, 55, was arrested in London at around 01:00. He was wanted on suspicion of murder and robbery. Airports and ports had been put on alert as police hinted for McLoughlin.

They were arrested at four separate addresses in London, Cardiff and Coventry at approximately 6am on suspicion of being concerned in the funding of a terrorist organisation, and laundering the proceeds of crime for that purpose.
