Body Floating In River For Hour Found To Be Alive
A body of an elderly woman found floating in the River Trent was presumed dead, only for her to open her eyes as a police officer reached her.

But as the officer reached the woman she is said to have opened her eyes.
When recovered to the bank at Colwick marina, she was taken to hospital where it is said she is "doing well".
Broadcaster Fined For Airing Islamic Scholar Condoning Murder

A one-hour programme in Urdu was broadcast in October 2011, by Manchester-based DM Digital.
An English-language translation of the broadcast was carried out by Ofcom, and it is claimed that the scholar told viewers: "I hail those who made this law [Pakistan's blasphemy law] which states that one who insults the Prophet deserves to be killed – such a person should be eliminated."

CCTV Footage Shows Bin Men Adding Rubbish To Shops Bins
CCTV footage, recorded by a shop owner, allegedly shows council refuse collectors overloading the business owners' bins, then walking away without emptying them, the BBC have reported.
The footage, filmed last Friday, is understood to show two council workers adding more rubbish to the shops bins before taking a photo and walking away, claiming it was too full to empty.
The DARS Express owner, Iftikhar Ahmed, reportedly set up the camera after Cambridge City Council had failed to remove his rubbish.
The council has apologised and said it would investigate the footage.
