'Harlem Shake' PCSO's Disciplined
Scotland Yard bosses have disciplined a number of police community support officers (PCSO) over a video posted to YouTube of them performing dance craze, the Harlem Shake.
The video shows a single PCSO, in uniform and wearing a helmet, begin the dance before being joined by six colleagues.
The footage also shows an officer with a traffic cone on his head, gyrating next to a police van.
Six of the transport officers received written warnings, while a seventh resigned.
British Fugitive Mark Lilley Arrested In Spain
41-year-old British fugitive, Mark Lilley, has been captured by Spanish police and officers from the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) after hiding naked in a panic room.
Lilley, from Warrington, went on the run in 2000 after he jumped bail while on trial for drug trafficking.
He was tracked down to a villa in the Alhurin de la Torre area of Malaga. When officers raided the property, Lilley escaped to a panic room, before surrendering.
Extradition proceedings are underway.
Former Newcastle United Player Charged With Rape
Former Newcastle United footballer Nile Ranger, 22, will appear in court next month on a charge of rape, police have said.
Northumbria police said: "A rape was reported to police on Thursday 24 January 2013, and relates to an incident which happened in the early hours of Wednesday 23 January at a hotel in Jesmond.
"Nile Ranger, 22, of Harringay, London, has been charged with rape. He is due to appear before Newcastle magistrates court on 21 August."

Rape Investigation Against MP Mark Pritchard Dropped
An investigation into rape allegations against Conservative MP Mark Pritchard have been dropped, Scotland Yard has confirmed. Mr Pritchard, MP for The Wrekin in Shropshire, was arrested on 2 December, however he was released on police bail. He has now been informed no further action will be taken.
