Teacher Admits Sex With Pupil

A 24-year-old teacher has been given an eight month suspended sentence after admitting two offences of sexual activity with a male aged 13 to 17.

Roseanna Langley, who taught at St James High School in Exeter, is reported to have sent naked pictures of herself to a 16-year-old school boy, and she allegedly miscarried his baby.

Ms Langley was uncovered after rumours spread around the school that she had become involved with one of her pupils.

She was sacked after admitting that she had been having a sexual relationship with the boy.

She was also ordered to do 150 hours of unpaid community work, will be on the sex offenders' register for 10 years and has been barred from working with children and young people indefinitely.
