UK Retail Sales Rise In June

New figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) have shown that retail sales rose by 0.2% in the UK in June.

When compared to the same month last year, it is an increase of 2.2%, according to the ONS.

The increase in June has been described as "modest" compared to the 2.1% rise in May, but will likely add to the hopes of a steady economic revival.
