Man Questioned About Mosques Bombs Released Without Charge

A 22-year-old Ukranian man has been released without charge after being questioned by police in connection with three bomb attacks near mosques.

He was one of two men arrested by police investigating explosions near mosques in Walsall, Wolverhampton and Tipton between 22 June and 12 July.

A 25-year-old remains in custody in connection with the explosion and is also being questioned about the murder of 82-year-old Mohammed Saleem.

Police said Mr Saleem's death forms part of the wider West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit investigation.

Madeleine's Mother Questioned By Police
Kate McCann, the mother of missing British girl Madeleine McCann, is being re-interviewed by Portuguese police. Her husband, Gerry McCann, will be re-interviewed tomorrow. Mrs McCann arrived at Portimao police station in the Algarve at 2pm local time on Thursday. She was accompanied by her lawyer Carlos Pinto de Abreu.

Police have already questioned two government ministers during the course of the "cash for honours" investigation. Both Science Minister Lord Sainsbury and Trade Minister Ian McCartney have confirmed that they were questioned by police investigating the cash for honours allegations.

Boyfriend of murdered teen questioned by police
The boyfriend of Jodi Jones – the 14-year-old girl who was murdered in Dalkeith in June – has been questioned by Midlothian Police this morning. Luke Mitchell (15) was at Dalkeith police station until 1.30pm today before being released without charge. Jodi's body was found on June 30 in a wooded area near Dalkeith.

Chris Tarrant Questioned Over 'Assault'
TV presenter Chris Tarrant has been arrested following an alleged assault during a domestic incident at his home, it has been emerged. Tarrant, who hosts Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? And Colour of Money, was questioned by officers at Staines police station in Middlesex after a woman claimed she was assaulted.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.
