House Collapses After Fire In Greater Manchester
A house in Greater Manchester has partially collapsed following a fire.
The incident has left two men needing hospital treatment and a third unaccounted for.
It is understood that the fire broke out at around 5am at an end-of-terrace house in War Office Road, Rochdale.
Fire fighters rescued two men, aged 38 and 60, from the building but believe a third man may have still been inside.
However, a fire service spokesman said it was not safe to send crews into the house.
According to Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, it is thought there may have been some sort of explosion on the first floor, with the fire spreading to the roof space.
It is unclear if a third man was in the property at the time, with the fire service saying they have received conflicting reports but are continuing to search "as best we can".

Heroic Tyne Firemen Honoured
Two Tyne and Wear firefighters are to be recognised for their bravery at a special ceremony today. Andrew Nelson and Allan Richardson will be presented with the Chief Fire Officer's Commendations for brave and meritorious conduct after saving a man's life. The men took part in a dramatic rescue in the early hours of 4 February.

Firefighters launch four-day strike

Suspicious Glasgow Car Fires
Detectives in Glasgow's East End are investigating a spate of vehicle fire attacks in the city yesterday. Shortly after 3.30am police were called to a report of a vehicle fire in Ashvale Crescent, Glasgow. Upon arrival police were advised by Strathclyde Fire Service that four vehicles had been damaged by fire.

Fire Fighters Hurt As Bolton House Fire Kills Woman
Three fire fighters have been injured - one of them being seriously burned - as they rescued an elderly woman from a house fire in Bolton. The 71-year-old victim later died, but three other people's lives were saved after being rescued from the blaze, a man in his 70s, a 24-year-old woman and a five-year-old girl.
