Police Appeal For Information After Rape Of 12-Year-Old Girl
A 12-year-old girl has been raped in east London in a "brutal" attack, police have said.
It is understood that the girl was engaged in conversation by three teenagers before being lead to Hibbert Road, near Theydon Street, Walthamstow, described by police as "secluded".
Two of the teens then attacked and raped the 12-year-old victim.
Police are now looking for the three teenagers and have appealed to the public for witnesses.
The first suspect told the girl he was 17 and called Mo. He is described as very thin and mixed race, wearing a diamond stud in his left ear.
Suspect two, who is thought to be 19-years-old, is said to be black and very tall, with partly shaven hair. He was wearing black trousers and a red and blue top.
A third male is understood to have not taken part in the rape and told the girl his name was Miles.
Police have asked anyone with information about the attack to contact the sexual offences, exploitation and child abuse command on 0208 217 7408 or if you wish to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Baby Girl Dies In Dog Attack
An 11-month-old baby has died after being mauled by a pet dog, police in Lancashire have said. The baby girl, from Emily Street in Blackburn, died in hospital at about 23:00 on Monday. Police have arrested a 26-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman on suspicion of child neglect in connection with the incident.

A police inquiry is underway into the alleged rape of a 13-year-old girl, in an attack believed to have been carried out by a number of men. Five men have been arrested after the teenager was raped and forced to engage in other sex acts in the Hoveringham Park area of Harehills, Leeds, on Saturday night.
