Man Shot By Police In East London
A man has been arrested in an east London hospital where he is being treated for gunshot wounds.
It is understood that the man was shot by armed police at around 8.15pm in the Hale End Road in Walthamstow. Police had responded to reports of a man with a handgun.
The man was treated at the scene for a gunshot wound to the arm before being transferred to ambulance where he was subsequently arrested.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Man Found Shot Dead In London
A murder hunt is under way after a man was found dead with gunshot wounds in London. Police were called to Fulham Court in Fulham at around 7pm on Thursday, following reports of shots being fired. When armed police and ambulance crews arrived, they discovered a 28-year-old man with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three More Arrested Over Garston Teenager Murder
A woman and two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old man in Garston, Liverpool, on Tuesday. A 31-year-old man and 32-year-old woman were arrested at a house in Garston on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. And a 20-year-old man was arrested at a different address on suspicion of possession of a firearm.

Two stewards have been shot during a concert by US rapper Kaye West at the NEC Arena in Solihull. West Midlands Police said that they were called to the venue around 10pm last night following the shooting of two male security guards at the front entrance to the arena.

The bodies of a retired police inspector and his girlfriend have been found with gunshot wounds in Devizes. Bill Dowling, a retired police inspector with 30 years' service, and the woman who is yet to be named, where found at Moonrakers estate at around 11:00am on Saturday.

English football fans stabbed in Italy
Three Middlesbrough fans have been stabbed in Rome in a violent clash ahead of the football club's UEFA cup match against Roma. The violence broke out in the Campo di Fiori area when two bars, where around 200 English fans were drinking, were targeted by a group of Italian fans.
