Search Underway For Missing Ferry Passenger

A search operation is underway after it was discovered a passenger on a ferry in the North Sea, was no longer on board.

It is understood that a 22-year-old man is missing after last being seen at around 4am on the MV Hjaltland, as it sailed from Lerwick to Aberdeen.

A rescue helicopter and several lifeboats began the search as the boat retraced its journey back to Aberdeen.

Record Fine Imposed Against Deloitte

A record fine of £14m has been imposed against accountancy firm Deloitte over the collapse of British car-maker MG Rover.

An industry tribunal by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) found that Deloitte failed to recognise a conflict of interest when it acted as adviser to MG Rover directors.

Four directors bought out the company in 2000 for a token sum of £10, but the car-maker went under in 2005 with £1.4bn of debts.

Former Deloitte partner Maghsoud Einollahi was also fined £250,000 and banned from accounting for three years.

Rusting 9/11 Sculpture To Be Installed At Olympic Park

A sculpture to mark the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre's in the United States is to be installed at the Olympic Park, after being left in a Cambridgeshire farmyard.

The sculpture is made from a reclaimed girder from the World Trade Centre and was originally installed at Battersea Park. However, it was removed after a month and all attempts to find it a new home failed.

After the sculpture was discovered left in a farmyard, exposed to the elements, and had begun to rust, London Mayor Boris Johnson vowed to find it a new home.

Investigation launched into 'sculpture' deaths
An investigation has been launched by the Health and Safety Executive and Durham Police into the deaths of two women who were killed when an inflatable sculpture broke free of its moorings. The accident happened at Riverside Park in Chester-le-Street on Sunday afternoon.

Artist Faces Manslaughter
The creator of an inflatable artwork which flipped over and killed two people is appearing in court charged with manslaughter. Artist Maurice Agis, 76, from Bow, east London, who conceived the multi-coloured Dreamspace sculpture, will appear before Peterlee Magistrates' Court in County Durham.
