School Bus Driver Arrested After Crash
A 47-year-old bus driver has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following a bus crash this morning which injured around 20 people.
A school bus collided with a lorry on the A685 at Lowgill, Kendal at around 8.25am this morning (Monday).
The lorry driver and three other adults are understood to have suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. A number of children were hurt in the crash but none seriously.
Police arrested the driver of the bus on suspicion of dangerous driving.
Accident investigators are at the scene of the collision and the road is expected to remain closed throughout the day.

Cornwall Crash Bus Driver Released On Bail
The bus driver arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a coach struck a wall on a steep hill at Moral, near Looe in Cornwall has been released on bail. The 57-year-old coach driver, from Exeter, is on bail until the 11th August. Two women died in the crash and eight people are believed to be critically injured.

Croydon Bus Death Driver Found Guilty
A bus driver involved in a crash that killed one person and left six others injured has been convicted in his absence. Raouf Mraidi, 30, of south London, did not turn up to the trial after his double decker bus hit a tram, then a parked BMW in Croydon, in 2008.
