Scottish Independence Vote Extended To Over 16s
The right to vote in next years Scottish independence referendum will be extended to teenagers aged 16 or older.
The move marks the first time a political vote in the UK has been offered to under 18s.
The referendum will ask one "yes/no" question: "Should Scotland be an independent country?"
Teenagers aged 16 or over by the time of the vote will be able to register to participate.
46 Jobs At Risk As Arriva Announce Cuts And Closures
The Arriva bus company in Wales have announced plans to cut services and close four sites, putting 46 jobs at risk.
A depot in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, and outstations in New Quay and Lampeter in Ceredigion and Dolgellau, Gwynedd, could shut on 21 December following a consultation with staff.
Arriva Buses Wales blamed public transport funding and fuel costs.
Museums Cut Staff While Increasing Volunteers
A new survey by the Museums Association has revealed that more than a third of museums and galleries cut staff last year, while almost half increased their intake of volunteers and interns.
While the government claim that museum visits were at a record high, the survey also found that school visits to museums and galleries fell by 31%.
