Paeodophile Who Walked Free From Court Jailed For Two Years

A paedophile who walked free from court after his teenage victim was branded "predatory" has been ordered by judges at the Court of Appeal to serve a two-year jail sentence.

Neil Wilson, 40, was handed a suspended sentence in august.

However, Wilson admitted engaging in sexual activity with a child, his victim was 13-years-old, making indecent images of a child and possessing extreme pornography.

The three judges agreed that the non-custodial term originally given to him was "plainly and without doubt unduly lenient".

Wilson who did not attend the court is expected to hand himself into police in York by 6pm this evening.
