Man And Woman Held Over Death Of Two-Year-Old

The death of a two-year-old boy in Coventry has become a murder enquiry, police have reported.

The child was admitted to the University Hospital Coventry on Monday with serious head injuries before being transferred to Birmingham Children's Hospital.

The child died on Tuesday.

Police have said that a 21-year-old man and 25-year-old woman are being questioned on suspicion of his murder.

A house on Richmond Street in Coventry has been cordoned off.

It is understood that a post-mortem examination was inconclusive and further tests to establish a cause of death are due to be carried out.

Man And Woman Killed In School Bus Crash
Two adults have been killed after a school coach crashed into two cars. Two other people were also seriously injured in the collision. The accident happened at around 4pm yesterday evening on the A4177 between Hatton and Hatton Park on the outskirts of Warwick. The school bus was carrying about 21 school children from Ayleford and Myton schools.
