Arrests Made In 22 Year Old Disappearance Case
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of the abduction and murder of a woman in Coventry 22 years ago.
Nicola Payne was 18 at the time of her disappearance on 14 December 1991.
It is understood that new forensic evidence has been uncovered that could provide a "breakthrough" in the case.
West Midlands Police arrested two men, both aged 49, in connection with the case. The men were arrested at their homes in the Bell Green and Stoke areas of Coventry.
A 51-year-old woman has also been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
This is the first time anyone has been charged in connection with Nicola Payne's disappearance.

She had a six-month-old son.

Two Further Arrests Made In 2007 Disappearance Case
Police in Bradford have arrested two men in connection with the 2007 disappearance of 32-year-old Sajid Saddique . Mr Saddique from Allerton was last seen on the morning of 14 February, over seven years ago. A 48 and 52-year-old were arrested in Bradford. It is understood that police have new evidence suggeting Mr Saddique was murdered.

Arrest Over Missing Coventry Woman: 16 years later
A man has been arrested on suspicion of the abduction and murder of a woman - 16 years ago. West Midlands Police confirmed that a 37-year-old man from the Derbyshire area was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the disappearance of Nicola Payne in 1991. He has since been released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
