CCTV Footage From Rebekah Brooks Trial Made Public

CCTV footage shown to the jury in the trial of former New International chief executive Rebekah Brooks has been made public.

The footage, which was captured on the day Mrs Brooks was arrested, allegedly shows Mrs Brooks, her husband Chris and security staff trying to hide documents and a computer from police.

The CCTV footage was recorded by cameras around the building in Chelsea, west London where Mr and Mrs Brooks had a flat.

The footage allegedly shows Mrs Brooks leaving a laptop, a Jiffy bag and another brown bag in a corner of the buildings car park.

Mr Brooks is then seen directing News International security chief Mark Hanna as he arrived in a car park driving Mr Brooks' black Range Rover.

Mr Hanna is then seen walking across the car park, retrieving the items left by Mrs Brooks before leaving the car park on foot and being driven away in another vehicle.

The jury also saw a number of other clips from the two following days.

Mr and Mrs Brooks deny conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

The trial continues.
