Prince Harry End Role As Helicopter Pilot
Prince Harry, the fourth in line to the throne, has completed he attachment as a helicopter pilot and will begin a new job as a staff officer.
In his new role will involve him helping to organise major ceremonial events involving the army.
He will be based at Horse Guards in London and retain his rank of captain.
New Echo World Record Set In Scottish Tunnel
A fuel depot in Scotland built before World War Two has been the venue of a new world record for the longest echo in a man-made structure.
A shot fired from a pistol was recorded inside the tunnel, which was dug into a Highland hillside near Invergordon.
The echo, recorded by Salford University acoustic engineer Prof Trevor Cox reverberated for 112 seconds, beating the previous Guinness World Record of 15 seconds, set in 1970 in Hamilton Mausoleum in Lanarkshire.
Newport To Host Its Last Welsh Open
Newport is to host the Welsh Open Snooker tournament for its last year, the chairman of World Snooker has announced.
Barry Hearn said that the tournament had enjoyed many good years in Newport but that he wanted to drive it forward and look at new venues.
It is understood that he is keen to find a new home in Cardiff.

BBC World Service Cuts International Output
BBC World Service has released details of its response to a cut to its Grant-in-Aid funding from the UK's Foreign & Commonwealth Office - with fewer language services as a result. BBC World Service is to carry out a fundamental restructure in order to meet the 16% savings target required by the Government's Spending Review of 20 October last year.

Coach Overturns On M1
A National Express coach has overturned on the M1 in Buckinghamshire. It is understood that the coach overturned at a service station near Newport Pagnell just after 4pm on Monday. According to reports, a number of people have been injured and fire crews are cutting the coach driver free. Four ambulances are currently at the scene.

Sky News Cameraman Killed In Egypt
A Sky news cameraman has been shot and killed while covering the ongoing violence in Cairo, Egypt. The broadcaster confirmed the death of 61-year-old Mick Deane on Wednesday. Mr Dean had worked for Sky for 15 years. In a statement, Head of Sky News, John Ryley, paid tribute to an "experienced journalist" and a "much-loved colleague".
