Police Appeal For Help Identifying Mystery man
Humberside Police have appealed to the public for help in identifying a man found sleeping rough suffering from dissociative fugue, a condition described as a "temporary loss of identity".
Police say that the man has said he is called David or Tony Thorpe, with a date of birth of 5 October 1995. He believes that he could be from Rotherham and may have links to Blackpool.
However, it is understood that a search of police and NHS systems had found nothing on the man.
Det Ch Insp Paul Welton said: "This is a very rare case in which somebody will come to an area, and have no idea who they are and if they have any family.
"The man is no longer sleeping rough and is being supported by the police and a number of agencies.
"He does not drink alcohol and does not take any form of drugs or medication, this is a genuine case of somebody who really does need to the help of the public to return home to his family and his friends."

Police on the Isle of Wight are trying to identify a man found dead in a kayak earlier this month. The man's body was found at Yaverland Beach, Sandown, at about 19:20 on Friday, 11 September. It is understood that he was last seen alive in Newhaven, Sussex.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

Police were called to reports of a road accident between a car and a scrambler bike on Banks Road in Garston at about 20:45 last night. However, when police arrived at the scene they found an 18-year-old man with serious gunshot wounds.
