16-Year-Old Arrested After Stabbed Man Dies

Police in London have arrested a 16-year-old in connection with the stabbing of man whose car collided with a bus.

On Friday, 22-year-old Babafemi Junaid was found to have been stabbed after his car collided with a bus near Stockwell Tube station in south London.

Police say they believe that Mr Junaid was stabbed in Clapham Road beofre getting into his vehicle and driving off. It is thought the stabbing might be related to earlier reports of a fight at a bus stop nearby.

Mr Junaid died in hospital on Friday evening. A post-mortem found that he had suffered a single stab wound to the heart.

Police arrested a 16-year-old this morning in connection with the incident.

Man dies after bus stabbing
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed to death following a row on a double-decker bus in London on Friday night. Richard Whelan, 28, was stabbed after attempting to stop a man who was shouting at passengers and throwing takeaway food on the top deck of a Number 43 bus in Islington.
