Naked Body Found On Beach Believed To Be Alan Jeal

The family of Alan Jeal have identified a body found on a Cornish beach.

Mr Jeal's body was washed up on Perranporth beach on 25 February, his jacket, wallet and a photograph were also found on the beach.

The death is being treating as suspicious by police because they said the injuries to his body "were not consistent with drowning" and "cannot be easily explained".

Mr Jeal's last known sighting was in Wadebridge town centre shortly after midday by the CCTV.

Alan's body was discovered on Perranporth beach on Tuesday 25 February 2014 by a member of the public while out walking his dog at around 2pm. He was naked apart from wearing socks and one walking shoe.

Torso And 'Other Body Parts' Found On Blackpool Beach
A decomposed torso and "other body parts" have been found on a beach in Blackpool. Lancashire Police have reported that the discovery was made just before 9am on Sunday in Queen's Promenade, opposite the junction with Cavendish Road. The gender of the victim is not yet known.

Body Of British Man Found On French Beach
French authorities have reported they have recovered the body of a British man on the coast of Cote d'Azur. It is believed the man was found washed up on a beach near the village of Eze on Saturday (28 March). Officials said the man was wearing cycling clothing and a bike was found near the scene.

Body Found On Beach Confirmed To Be Dan Nicholls
The body of a man swept out to sea on the beach at Rottingdean on Sunday has been confirmed as Dan Nicholls. Freddie Reynolds' body was found in Saltdean on Saturday morning. Both friends had been swept out to sea in the early hours of Saturday morning and an extensive co-ordinated search by a number of agencies began.
