James Arthur Denies Being Dropped By Syco
Singer James Arthur has denied reports that he has been dropped by record label Syco.
The singer wrote on Twitter to respond to claims that he had been sacked over a song on his new rap mix tape.
He tweeted: "As far as I know I am still with syco but I am exclusively signed to Sony. People look too deeply into the media circus. It's about music."

Brown discusses 'transfer of power' as Labour support fades
Support for Labour is at its lowest level since 1992, a new opinion poll has suggested. The poll, published in 'The Times', showed the Conservatives on 38% - an increase of four points - while Labour slumped six points to 30%. The Liberal Democrats also dropped one point to 20%.

70 killed in coordinated Iraq terror attacks
At least 70 people have been killed in a series of coordinated attacks on security installations across Iraq. In the worst outrage, 44 people were killed in Mosul when a series car bombs rocked the northern city this morning. More than 200 people are thought to have been injured in the bombings.

Soul singer Wilson Pickett dies
Veteran US soul singer Wilson Pickett has died at the age of 64. The star, who was famous for hits such as 'In The Midnight Hour' and 'Mustang Sally', suffered a heart attack in Virginia. His management said that he had suffered from ill health for the past year.

An American teenager has been given a life sentence for the murder of two British tourists while in Florida. 25-year-old James Cooper and 24-year-old James Kouzaris, friends from university in Sheffield, were shot and killed in Sarasota, Florida, after drunkenly wandering into the Newtown area in the early hours of 16 April 2011.

Senior officers from the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) probing a multiple terrorist murder helped to cover-up the involvement of a Roman Catholic priest. He was thought to be an IRA man and to have been closely involved in the bombing of Claudy, Co Londonderry in 1972.
