Yacht Families Hopeful After Foreign Office Meeting

Families of the four British sailors missing in the Atlantic Ocean have said they remain hopeful their relatives will be found after a meeting with the Foreign Office Minister.

The crew's relatives said they were "very positive" and felt everything possible was being done to find the men.

Minister Hugh Robertson also thanked the Coast Guard for their significant efforts.

The meeting came on the same day a private yacht, the Malisi, which joined the search team, found debris which may be part of the boat.

However the US Coast Guard said they could not be sure of the debris came from the boat because it has not got identifying marks.

Graham Male, father of 22-year-old James Male, said:"What we can say is that the UK government and the US Coast Guard are right behind us, which we are so grateful for."
