Four People Killed In Tanker Crash

An investigation has been launched after four people died in a multi-vehicle crash involving a fuel tanker, a car and a van, on the A44 road near Aberystwyth in Wales on Tuesday.

An infant was also seriously injured and has been taken to the University Hospital of Wales.

Firefighters, two air ambulances as well as five ambulances attended the scene at around 14.55.

Relatives of those killed have been informed, according to the police.

The road was closed for several hours.

Four Questioned About Double Shooting
Four men are being questioned by the police after a double shooting left one man dead and a teenager injured in southeast London. The incident happened in East Dulwich on Thursday afternoon and the police confirmed a 21-year-old man was killed and a teenager was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road crash with a wild boar on the M4 in Wiltshire. A 47-year-old man, from Royal Wootton Bassett, was killed in the collision which happened on Monday 5 January at approximately 6.40pm between junctions 17 and 16 on the eastbound stretch of the M4.

Four children killed in car crash
Four children have been killed in a car crash in Essex. The children - three girls, aged four, eight and 15 and a boy aged 16 - were travelling in a Ford Fiesta, which collided with a Vauxhall Corsa on the A126 near Tilbury on Tuesday evening. All four children were taken to Basildon Hospital, but died despite the efforts of medical staff.

Second Collision On A55 Expressway
North Wales Police have reported a second collision on the A55 expressway in north Wales, which shut the road completely. A man was fatally injured in a collision involving two HGV lorries and a transit van on Tuesday morning between St Asaph and Abergale.
