Judge Rejects Rigby Killers Appeal

A Judge has refused Michael Adebolajo, one of the men jailed for the murder of Fusilier Lee Rigby, the right to appeal, the Judicial Office has reported.

Adebolajo was sentenced to whole-life term last year for the murder of Fusilier Rigby. It is understood that his case will be hear by a panel of judges from the Court Of Appeal.

It has also recently been revealed by the Sun newspaper that the two men convicted of Fusilier Rigby's murder have received over £200,000 in legal aid.

The paper reports that a combined total of £212,613.32 has been spent on legal aid for the two men, Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale. The Sun used a Freedom of Information request to find out the figures.
