Police Uncover Large-Scale Cannabis Farm

Cannabis worth an estimated £235,000 has been seized by police in Forth Valley, following a tip from a member of the public.

Police say that information supplied by a member of the public lead to a raid being carried out on premises on Main Street in Shieldhill. The raid uncovered a large-scale cannabis cultivation facility.

A 48-year-old man was arrested during the operation.

Police say that the investigation is ongoing and further arrests may be made.

It is understood that around 30 cannabis plants were uncovered by officers during a search at Whitchurch Hospital in Cardiff. News of the cannabis farm was revealed in a report by the BBC.
