Camra Call For Change In Pub Planning Laws

Campaign for Real Ale (Camra) have called on the government to introduce new laws to stop pubs from being demolished or converted into shops.

Highlighting that 31 pubs have closed every week this year in the UK, the group called the trend "perverse".

It is understood that currently pubs could be demolished or converted with council planning permission, according to Camra.

They are calling on the government to change this law.
