Coach Carrying Over 50 Passengers Crashes Down Ditch

A coach carrying over 50 passengers has overturned in a ditch off the M5 in Gloucestershire.

The crash happened at around 10am, however none of the passengers are believed to be seriously injured.

Police said the coach driver hurt his back in the incident.

The Highways Agency described the incident as "serious" and junctions 13 and 14 on the southbound side have been closed.

Britons injured in Alps coach crash
A coach carrying 45 British tourists has crashed in the French Alps, the Foreign Office has confirmed. Four passengers have been injured, one seriously. It is understood that the accident happened around 1am local time when the coach slid off an icy road near Les Deux-Alpes in south-east France.

Three people are in hospital after a coach carrying twenty four people crashed into a ditch shortly after midnight in Suffolk. Emergency services were called at about 00:15 on Friday morning after a coach left the road and crashed into a ditch on the A146 at Beccles. Three people are being treated at James Paget Hospital.
