Police Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Car Park Accident

A two-year-old girl has died after being hit by a car in a north-west London supermarket car park.

Police have appealed for witnesses.

Metropolitan Police has said that the child was hit by a vehicle in the car park of Asda in Forty Lane, Wembley.

She was treated by paramedics but later died in hospital.

It is understood the driver of the car has not been arrested.

Council Approves New Stonehenge Coach Park
Wiltshire Council has granted planning permission for a new 26-space coach park at Stonehenge. Farmland next to an existing coach park will be converted by English Heritage into new parking spaces and pedestrian walkways. It is understood that a condition of the planning approval is that the land can be returned to its original state.

Parking Meters Vandalised In Sussex
Five parking meters have been vandalised in Sussex. The machines were damaged in Lewes on 24 May. Two were attacked with a firework and paint in the Phoenix Causeway car park. Fireworks were also used to damage three machines in Friars Walk, Garden Street and Southover Road.

Investigation Launched Into 'Unexplained' Husband And Wife Deaths
An investigation is underway into the deaths of a husband and wife from Long Melford on Thursday. According to reports, the body of a man, said to be a butcher from Suffolk town, was found at the foot of a multi-storey car park in Bury St Edmonds, shortly after midday.

Children Found Dead After Mother Falls To Her Death
Police investigating the death of a pregnant woman who fell from a multi-storey car park have discovered the bodies of three young children in a house in Suffolk. The children were found dead at a property in London Road South, Lowestoft, Suffolk, on Monday.
