Man Charged Over East London Murder
A 48-year-old man has been charged with the murder of woman in east London.
Police say that the man has been charged with stabbing to death 26-year-old Leighann Duffy.
Ms Duffy was found at a house in Hatherley Road in Walthamstow suffering stab wounds to her arm and neck. She died two days later in hospital.
It is understood a child was also found injured at the house, but they did not require hospital treatment.
Police have confirmed that Lloyd Byfield, of no fixed abode, has been charged with murder and will appear before magistrates later today.

Man Faces Baby Murder Charge
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a four-month-old baby girl. Craig Jamieson, 28, from Scotscoun, appeared before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, where he was remanded in custody. Mr Jamieson was arrested on Friday, shortly after the baby died in Glasgow's Yorkhill Hospital, after being taken from her home in Partick.
