RSPCA Report Pet Rabbit Found With Ears Cut Off

The RSPCA have reported that a stray rabbit found in Bradford appears to have had its ears removed with scissors.

It is understood that the rabbit was found by a member of the public on Sunday near Dirkhill Road, who brought the stray animal to a vet.

The RSPCA say that the rabbit appears to have been attacked, suffering a badly broken leg, which had to be amputated, and injuries to its ears.

The animal charity says it looks like someone has removed the rabbits ears with a pair of scissors, as the injuries "can't have been an accident."

As the animal was not microchipped it was not possible for the charity to trace the owner.

The rabbit is currently being cared for by the charity.
