Body found in river may be missing teen

Suffolk police, who are searching for a missing teenager, have recovered a body from the River Blyth, near Southwold.

Police confirmed yesterday that the body of a male had been taken from the river. While identification has yet to take place, police believe at this stage that it is the body of the missing 15-year-old, Rory Unwin-Rose.

Rory went missing on Thursday after he went to a beach party at Walberswick, near Lowestoft.

The unidentified body has been taken to the James Paget Hospital, Gorleston, where a post mortem will take place in due course.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious at this stage.
