Conservative MP Arrested Over Rape Allegation
A Conservative MP has been arrested over a rape allegation.
Mark Pritchard, MP for The Wrekin in Shropshire, was questioned by police on Wednesday and has been released on bail.
A Met spokesman said: "We can confirm that a 48-year-old man voluntarily attended a north London police station on Tuesday, 2 December where he was arrested, following an allegation of rape in central London.
"He has been bailed to a date in early January 2015 pending further enquiries."

Rape Investigation Against MP Mark Pritchard Dropped
An investigation into rape allegations against Conservative MP Mark Pritchard have been dropped, Scotland Yard has confirmed. Mr Pritchard, MP for The Wrekin in Shropshire, was arrested on 2 December, however he was released on police bail. He has now been informed no further action will be taken.

It is understood police were called to Grove Park in Carshalton at about 20:30 on Saturday to reports of a rape. Officers investigating the incident have arrested a 26-year-old on suspicion of rape.

Five Arrested After Nursery Sex Abuse Allegation
An allegation made by a child that they were being sexually assaulted has lead to the arrest of five men in Worcestershire. According to the BBC, the police were alerted last week and that the incident happened at one of the three branches of Bright Eyes nurseries, which are in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Droitwich.
