Woman Arrested Following Fatal Attack
A 28-year-old woman has been arrested following an incident at St Helens in Liverpool in the early hours of Sunday 7 December.
Officers were called to a house on Tilbrook Drive, Peasley Cross, at around 1.15am, by the North West Regional Ambulance Service reporting that a man had been assaulted.
Patrols attended and found a 38-year-old man inside the property with a number of stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries but died later on Sunday morning.
The woman was arrested at the house on suspicion of assault and taken to a police station on Merseyside for questioning by officers. She was subsequently re-arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody at this time.
Police Appeal Following Serious Crash In Warwickshire
Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision in Warwickshire on Sunday 7 December at around 9.35am.
The incident happened on the M6 between junction one and two, when a silver Lexus left the carriageway nearside.
A 13-month-old baby sustained life threatening injuries during the collision. He remains in Birmingham Children's Hospital in a serious condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
Appeal For Missing Woman From Stirling
Police in Forth Valley are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a woman from Stirling, Scotland, who was reported missing almost two weeks ago.
Christine Henley, 49, was last seen in the St Ninians area on Wednesday 26 November. However, family and friends have not heard from her since that time and are urgently seeking information.
She previously lived in Alness before moving to the St Ninians area and it is thought she may have travelled back to that area.
She is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall with shoulder length blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a navy blue jacket, black leggings and long black boots.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
A body has been discovered in Sutton Mill by police investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Hayman. The body was found at 18:00 on Thursday. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police said that Ms Hayman's family have been informed of the find. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

A police van transporting a suspect has collided with a car in Sheffield, injuring seven people. South Yorkshire Police say the incident, which happened on Abbeydale Road at about 23:30 on Sunday, involved a police van and a red Peugeot 207.

Human Remains Found During Search For Missing Woman
Police Scotland have confirmed that human remains have been found during the search for missing 19-year-old Hazel North. A search had been ongoing for Ms North, who was from Dunfermline and has been missing since 04 March. Police have not yet been confirmed if the remains found in Dean Park are those of Ms North.

Detectives in Glasgow are continuing enquiries after a woman was indecently assaulted on Saturday in the Govan area. The 37-year-old woman was in a car park at Water Row, just off Govan Road, at around 8.30pm when she noticed a man lying on the ground.
