Journalist Cleared Of Misconduct
Nick Parker, a journalist for The Sun, has been cleared of aiding and abetting misconduct in a public office.
According to reports, Parker was cleared of helping Surrey Police officer Alan Tierney commit misconduct.
Tierney, who has already admitted the offence, contacted Parker with stories about England footballer John Terry's family and Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood.
Parker, 53, has however been convicted of handling MP Siobhain McDonagh's stolen mobile phone.
Girl, 11, Raped In Crawley
An 11-year-old girl has been raped as she walked home from school.
The girl was pulled into an alleyway between Blackwater Lane and Balcombe Road, Crawley, by a man who then pushed her into bushes and raped her.
The attack happened at around 3pm on 22 September, but the girl has only recently reported it to police.
An e-fit of the man has been released.
He is aged about 40, with ginger and grey hair, and stubble. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a black fleece beanie hat and a knee-length khaki coloured coat.
Detective Inspector James Norbury, Sussex Police, said: "This was an extremely distressing incident for the young victim who has only just built up the courage to report it and she and her family are now being supported by specially trained officers.
"It was light and a busy time of day so we are appealing to anyone who might have been in that area of Maidenbower around 15:00."
Man's Body Found In Abercynon
South Wales Police has said it is investigating the death of Vietnamese man, Tinh Van Tran.
The 41-year-old's body was found on an area of common land in Abercynon last week. He was found by a member of the public on Tuesday 2 December, along a road leading towards Whitehall Golf Course.
Mr Van Tran, is described as 5 ft 5, and was found wearing a black puffa jacket, dark and light grey striped polo shirt, grey tracksuit bottoms, black socks, white Adidas trainers and a brown and black check scarf.
Police are awaiting further test results to determine a cause of death.

Police Investigating If Woman Was Trying To Save Dog When She Was Hit By Train
British Transport Police investigating the death of a woman have said that she may have been trying to save a dog when she was hit by a train. The 22-year-old woman was struck by a train close to Ainsdale station near Southport, Merseyside at about 15:00 on Wednesday. Transport police said a dog was also found dead at the scene.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
A body has been discovered in Sutton Mill by police investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Hayman. The body was found at 18:00 on Thursday. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police said that Ms Hayman's family have been informed of the find. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

The body of a man has been found impaled on railings in west London. Police believe the man may have slipped while attempting to climb the railings in Kensington. The man, believed to be in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
