Allotment Body Confirmed As Missing Coventry Woman
Police have confirmed that a body recovered from an allotment site in Leicester is that of Sameena Imam.
Ms Imam (34) had been missing since Christmas Eve, when she was last seen outside Costco in Coventry.
While formal identification won't take place until Wednesday, police have said that a body recovered during a search on Friday is that of the Coventry woman.
Police have also said that they are waiting for the full results of a post-mortem to establish the cause of death.
Two brothers, 40-year-old Roger and 38-year-old David Cooper, have been charged with the murder of Ms Imam.
They have been remanded in custody with a provisional trial date set for June.

Recovered Body Confirmed As Missing POlice Officer
Cumbria Police have confirmed that a body found on Tuesday was that of a missing police officer. Police searching for Detective Sergeant George Atkinson, recovered his body in the Cogra Moss area. Mr Atkinson was 46 years old from Springbank, Whitehaven. He was employed as a Detective Sergeant at Cumbria Constabulary, based in west Cumbria.

Police are continuing to investigate after an elderly man was found with serious injuries in Coventry. It is understood that a 75-year-old man was found lying in Binley Road at the junction with Far Gosford Street in Stoke around 10.45pm Friday 25 September.
