Topless Page Three Feature Returns

A topless model has again appeared on page three of The Sun newspaper, two days after speculation began that the redtop had brought the 44 year old feature to an end.

News reports began appearing on Tuesday suggesting the newspaper had dropped the controversial page three feature, however, The Sun newspaper had neither confirmed nor denied that that was the case.

In today's edition, under the heading of 'Clarifications and Corrections', a topless model is featured winking at the camera.

Beneath the picture, a caption states: "Further to recent reports in all other media outlets, we would like to clarify that this is Page 3 and this is a picture of Nicole, 22, from Bournemouth.

"We would like to apologise on behalf of the print and broadcast journalists who have spent the last two days talking and writing about us."
