Man On Trial For Murder Found Dead In Prison Cell
A man on trial for killing a guest house woman has committed suicide in prison.
John Heald, 53, was waiting for the jury to reach a verdict at Hull Crown Court, for the murder of Bei Carter and the rape of another woman.
He was accused of deliberately stabbing Mrs Carter, 49, at the Moryland Hotel on 18 July last year. He was also accused of raping a woman in the Sheffield area.
The jury has been discharged.

Christopher Braithwaite, of Bentworth Road, Shepherd's Bush, west London, admitted to stabbing twenty-three-year-old Stacey Westbury at her Fulham home on 17 August, 2007.

Maninder Pal Singh Kohli, 41, denies allegations of rape, kidnap, false imprisonment and murder at Winchester Crown Court. Hannah, 17, disappeared in Southampton after a night out with friends in March 2003.
