Specialist Dive Team Join Search For Missing 11-Year-Old

A specialist dive team from South Wales Police is to assist in the search operation continuing on the River Towy for 11-year-old Cameron Comey.

Cameron has been missing since Tuesday and it is feared that he may have fallen into the river after he was seen playing nearby.

A team of 50 from various emergency services have carried out searches in and around the river in Carmarthen since Tuesday afternoon.

The specialist dive team will join the operation today which is now focusing on the area where Cameron was last seen.

Police renewed their appealed to anyone who was in the area between 14:00 and 16:00 on Tuesday to contact them.
