Confirmed Ebola Diagnosis For Military Healthcare Worker
Three British military healthcare workers are returning to the UK for Ebola treatment.
It is understood that a female worker has tested positive for the design, with two colleagues also coming back to the UK as a precaution. Reports suggest that a further two workers are continuing to be monitored in Sierra Leone, and may be returned to the UK later.
Public Health England has said that there is no threat to the public.
Woman Falls Beneath Tube Train In South London
A woman is being treated in hospital after falling beneath a tube train in south London this morning.
According to reports the woman fell "between the train and the track" at Clapham South at about 08:00.
The woman is being treated in hospital where her condition is described as "not life-threatening".
Football Club Bans Children From Pitch Side Stands
Ipswich Town has banned children from the lower tiers of its ground after some young fans were hit by "flying balls".
The club has said that following the incident all under fives will be required to sit higher up in the stands, citing "safety reasons".
A spokesman said the plan was part of a move to encourage families to move to the East of England Co-op stand, which will have attractions prior to the match to make it "more attractive for families".

The first woman bishop in the Church of England could be appointed by Christmas. The general synod supports the legislation to fast-track the revision of the latest proposals and to reduce the time given to individual dioceses. This could lead to a final vote in July with the legislation approved by November.

Disabled Woman Found Dead In Car
A disabled woman found stabbed to death in her car near her home in Harlow, Essex, has been named. Jennifer Macaree was discovered in Hadley Grange on the outskirts of Harlow early on Saturday. Essex Police confirmed she was in the driver's seat of her black Vauxhall Corsa in a parking area near her flat shortly after 3am.

Baby Death Mother Named
The British woman charged with causing the death of her newborn baby in a hotel room in Crete has been named. Leah Andrew, from London, has been charged with infantide after being arrested in Malia on Tuesday. Ms Andrew was rushed to hospital by local residents after giving birth alone in her room.

Man arrested over canal torso find
A man has been arrested following the discovery of a woman's torso in a suitcase which was floating in London's Regent's Canal. Police were called to the Regents Canal in Islington on Saturday after a group of teenagers spotted a suitcase floating in the water. They managed to pull the case from the water and discovered a human torso inside.

A South African woman has been charged with smuggling a controlled substance through Manchester Airport. Maria Magdelena Van Wyk, aged 43, from Gerimiston, South Africa, was arrested on Saturday morning after arriving at Manchester Airport on a flight from Georgetown, Guyana.
