Last Tree-Top Protesters Removed
The last of a group of protesters have been removed from tree-tops in Bristol.
Up to 80 "security specialists" moved into the protest camp last Thursday to begin evicting the protesters, who were campaigning against a new proposed bus route.
It is understood that the security guards and members of Bristol City Council worked in shifts around the clock to clear the site.
Man Dies In Ben Lomond Fall
A man has died after a fall on Ben Lomond.
Emergency services were called at about 11:50 on Sunday to "reports of concern for a person".
It is understood that the man had fallen while walking on the Munro. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
Council Backtrack On Plan To Cut Lollipop Patrols
Pembrokeshire County Council has scrapped a plan to cut 15 lollipop patrol posts.
The council had planned a public consultation on the proposal to cut the posts, but have now decided not to go ahead with the action.

Anti-Nuclear Protesters Block Gates To Naval Base
A group of protesters have blocked access to the Faslane naval base on the Clyde in an effort to stop workers from entering. The protesters are from the Scrap Trident campaign and is said to be the first is a series of actions planned by the group.
