One Driver Dies In M6 Crash
A man has died following a multi-vehicle collision on the M6.
It is understood the crash involved three lorries.
The accident happened shortly after 11.35pm on Tuesday (17 March), between the Catthorpe Interchange Link with the M1 and junction 1 near Rugby.
A section of the M6 remains closed as an investigation into the incident is carried out.
One of the lorry drivers died at the scene and another has been taken to hospital. He is thought to have leg and back pain, and bruising to his abdomen. The third driver was uninjured.
Appeal To Find Three Armed Men In Harrogate
North Yorkshire Police have launched an appeal for information after three men gained entry to a secure block of flats on Kennion Road, Harrogate.
The incident happened at around 11pm on Monday (16 March).
It is understood the men, who were armed with a baseball bat, knife and pepper spray, gained entry to the flats before trying to force their way into one of the apartments. They were prevented from doing so by the occupants, who were uninjured but said to be suffering from the effects of pepper spray.
The men have been described as black, approximately 5ft 9-10in tall and of slim build. They were wearing dark-coloured clothing, included hooded tops.
Police have said they believe it was a targeted attack.

Cannabis Plants Found In Carlisle
Cumbria Police have recovered 46 cannabis plants from a property in Carlisle.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of the production of a Class B drug.
The man, aged 19 and from Carlisle, was also arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. Police discovered the cannabis plants following a search of his home address.
He has been released on bail until 22 April.

Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.
